About Carrie
Carrie Brinser is an established marketing strategist, communications professional and published writer. She has spent most of her career within leading higher education institutions in Maryland as well as serving on teams for large, respected national organizations.
Early in her career, Carrie was on the leadership team that helped Towson University's College of Business & Economics achieve AACSB accreditation for two academic programs, an honor received by less than 1% of business schools worldwide. She gained frequent national and local media coverage profiling the College's expert faculty and innovative programs. During that same time period, her feature articles and food reviews were published by Baltimore magazine, Urbanite, University Business magazine, Metro.Pop, and more as Carrie completed her master's degree in professional writing.
Carrie went on to become a full-time writer for a Top 50 U.S. law school in Baltimore and was shortly thereafter recruited to join Constellation Energy's national marketing team, where she went on to start their first blogs and grow their social media channels. She later returned to her hometown to lead marketing for Howard Community College's Continuing Education & Workforce Development division. Among various accomplishments there, she is most proud of co-leading a marketing strategy that contributed to a 16% college-wide year-over-year enrollment increase during the first few months into the COVID-19 pandemic, when most community colleges nationwide were experiencing significant declines.
Today, Carrie is honored to serve on the American Red Cross Biomedical Services national direct-to-donor marketing team, where she uses her creative, data analysis, project management and interpersonal skills to inspire blood donors to help save lives. She is also a continuous scholar and recently obtained the Certified ANA Marketing Professional (CAMP) from the Association of National Advertisers, after completing Cornell University's Growth Marketing Certificate Program in June 2022.
Carrie has been nationally and regionally recognized for digital marketing/advertising, film/video direct marketing, video programs/news information, and publications design.
